There was a full house on the pickleball courts in Greeley this week.
“When I started, we’d put up three nets and on a good day maybe four nets,” said Greeley resident Len Westerkamp, 69, of his introduction to the game in 2014. “Now, we put up six nets and we usually have people waiting to get on the courts. We have 30-35 people on a typical day.”
Yes, pickleball is the real deal in the Greeley area.
