YMCA Pickleball coordinator honored -Wilkes-Barre, PA

Ryan Pollock, volunteer pickleball coordinator for the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA, was presented with the 2018 certificate of appreciation for his dedication to growing the sport of pickleball. He was recognized for helping to grow the sport by giving lessons, organizing tournaments and motivating members of surrounding communities to become active players.

Pickleball has reserved court time seven days a week at the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA. New attendees are always welcome. The YMCA provides equipment for use and offers lessons on Mondays at 5 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m. with Pollock.

Lessons and play is free for Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA members and $5/visit for non-members. Interested individuals should call the YMCA to schedule a lesson at 570-208-9622.
