The Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) will feature Las Cruces’ own nationally ranked pickleball player, Laura Smart, as guest conductor during one piece of the Saturday-night performance. Smart said she has had three baton lessons in preparation for her conducting debut.



LAS CRUCES — In putting together the design for a new sports complex on the East Mesa, the name of the game was teamwork. The complex, which will feature eight pickleball courts, is still in its master planning phase. 



Albuquerque has some of the largest dedicated pickleball court facilities across the country, and best of all, they’re mostly free!
