After years of watching pickleball clubs form in other cities, creating active communities of players in the process, Mitch Dunn and Karen Games decided a Cincinnati-based club was long overdue.



FREMONT – Visitors to Rodger Young Park’s tennis courts will see some dramatic improvements by June, as the city moves ahead with renovation and resurfacing plans in the first part of 2020.



The Rossford Parks and Recreation Department received $46,231 from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to renovate a tennis court to pickleball court.



The addition of pickleball is the result of a recommendation in the HRG Master Plan, as well as local support from seniors groups. The game itself has been popular in Florida for some time, and our neighboring towns, Salem and East Palestine, have courts.
